Good first box, delivery issue

I ordered the Glamour Beauty Box subscription and got the first box with a nice discount. The products in the Essentials Edit were decent for the price I paid, a good mix of skincare and makeup. However, the delivery took a bit longer than expected, about a week, and the tracking information wasn't updated very often. Customer service was helpful when I inquired, but it would be better if the tracking was more reliable from the start. Overall, good value, just a minor snag with shipping.

Nah, pretty sure they're UK-only. I tried to send one to a friend in Germany and it wouldn't let me. They're based there.

Unfortunately, I don't think they do international shipping. Checked their FAQs before and it said no. Bummer, I know!

Are the products in the regular Glamour Beauty Box subscriptions usually full-size or just samples?

It's usually a mix! You often get a couple of full-size items, especially in makeup, and then some really decent deluxe travel sizes for skincare. It's not all dinky samples.

I'd say a good chunk are full-size, or at least generous travel sizes. Definitely not like tiny sachets you get from other places. You feel like you're getting value for sure.

I haven't personally, but I've heard it's pretty straightforward if something's damaged or wrong. You probably can't just return a whole box because you didn't like the items though, that's kinda the gamble with these.

Returns were easy for a damaged item I got once. Just contacted their support and they sorted it out quickly, didn't have to jump through hoops or anything.

how does the Glamour Beauty Box compare to say, Lookfantastic or Cult Beauty boxes? Worth it over those?

I've tried all three! Glamour's curation feels a bit more 'magazine editor' pick, often more high-end skincare or makeup you'd see in fashion spreads. Lookfantastic is great for discovering new brands, and Cult Beauty is good if you already know specific brands you love. Glamour often has more full-size items than Lookfantastic though, sometimes.

For me, Glamour felt a bit more luxurious. The products were usually things I'd actually heard of or wanted to try but were too expensive. Lookfantastic is good for value, but sometimes the brands are a bit more obscure.
